This pilgrimage takes you to four sacred sites in the Indian Himalayas – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. The Chardham Yatra is a popular pilgrimage circuit in India that includes four sacred Hindu temples located in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand. The temples are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, each dedicated to different deities. Many devotees undertake this journey to seek blessings and show their devotion to the gods.
Pick from Airport Drive to Barkot (185Kms – 6/7 Hrs. Travelling to Barkot). Via Mussorie. Stay in Hotel / Resorts / Camp
Drive to Mussorie and do sightseeing further drive to Barkot.
Start Holy Yatra of Chardham early morning at 8/9:00 AM from Haridwar/Rishikesh
Dinner & overnight stay at Barkot.

Barkot to Yamunotri (46 Kms. – 2.5 Hrs. Travelling by Car & 5 Kms – 3 Hrs. Travelling by foot/pony) -

Morning at 4 AM start yatra to Yamunotri and after Jankichatti you have to go ahead by foot.
Return to Barkot and overnight stay at Barkot.

Yamunotri, First of The Chardham: -
Yamunotri temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Yamunotri is the source of revered river Yamuna which originates from the Champasar Glacier lying 1 Km. Ahead of the shrine situated at an elevation of 3235 mts above sea level. The approach is extremely difficult and pilgrims therefore offer Pooja at the temple itself. Yamunotri was the home of an ancient sage Asit Muni.
Drive 7/8hrs to Harshil via Uttarakashi. Arrival at Harshil after lunch walk towards the apple garden and harshil valley. Stay overnight here.
After breakfast, drive to Gangotri (22 Kms/1 hr). On reaching Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river The Ganges, which is called Bhagirathi at its source. Perform pooja & other rituals and relax in the beautiful environment. Later drive for Uttarkashi. Dinner at the Hotel/Resorts, Uttarkashi. (B.D) Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Uttarkashi to Rudraprayag (244Kms - 8 to 9 Hrs. Travelling from Uttarkashi to Rudraprayag to Guptkashi)
Leave very early in the morning for almost day long drive to Guptkashi. Enroute, your Lunch at Kirtinagar. On your drive you would pass through Ganga giving way to Tehri Dam (The Electro Hydro Project).
Dinner and overnight Stay at Guptkashi.

Kedarnath – IIIrd of Char Dham: -
The present temple built in 8th Century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya lies adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built by Pandavas. The temple has a conical lingam - the main idol, a statue of Nandi - the celestial bull, a 'Garba Grah' for worship and a man dap for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. The temple is more than 1000 years old.
After breakfast, we will start our journey to Joshimath (141 Kms / 5-6 hrs), one of the most striking sites on the entire trip. We explore Chopta valley and later Gopewar Gopinath temple and continue drive to Joshimath. Take the pleasure of the beautiful drive through therapeutic forest. Evening visit to Narsing Temple / Shankracharya temple / kalp vriksha. Stay in Joshimath
Badrinath - Mana - Joshimath. Drive 5 hours. Visit to Joshimath and one can take cable car to visit Auli and back by cable car from Joshimath.

Badrinath – IVthDham of Uttarakhand's Char Dham

Cradled in the twin Mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines - Badrinath along the left bank of river Alaknanda with the towering Neelkantha Peaks as the splendid backdrop.
Once the spot was carpeted with 'badris' or wild berries and hence was famous as Badri van. Legend has it, when the Ganga was requested to descend to earth to help suffering humanity; the earth was enable to withstand the force of its decent. Therefore the mighty Ganga was split into 12 holy channels. Alaknanda was one of them that later became the abode of Lord Vishnu or Badrinath
Joshimath to Dehardun Airport. Drive 9 / 10 hours.
